Inspire the next generation

Coastal STEMfest aims to enthuse the next generation to study and build careers in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) and to develop the tools and techniques needed to drive the economy of the future.

This year, Coastal STEMfest will work closely with local employers, to give you the chance to go into local schools to promote your innovative local business and set students’ learning in a real-world context. We are going to be running STEM Club sessions with the schools, encouraging students to work on projects that can be entered into national schemes and competitions. We can give you and your staff full training through the STEM Ambassador programme, and give you tips and ideas for STEM Clubs.

If you’d like to know more about Coastal STEMfest – and how you can get involved – email us on CoastalSTEMfest@brighton.ac.uk or call on 01273 644178.

Support for you

The employer support programme of Tomorrow’s Engineers can advise on your outreach strategy and ways to engage with local schools. Your involvement will help match young people’s aspirations with the careers offered by the UK’s world-class STEM community.

It will lead to increasing interest in the opportunities provided by higher education and vocational qualifications and help to lay the foundations for future economic prosperity. A range of sponsorship packages is available with benefits that meet the needs of every organisation.
